Reman injectors with higher pop psi
My old injectors were down 900 psi ~ 2600.
The Cummins reman injectors I got pop tested around 3800-4000.
This is higher than stock as far as I know. Does this mean I need to advance the pump timing? If so, how much would ya'll think?
Thanks,
Brian

By the way, my interest in this truck (right now) is not more power. I want to be able to safely tow a 24' gooseneck with a 7000 lb. Kubota tractor on the freeway & up dirt roads without fearing it will blow up. When I get more time I may bomb the truck. Right now I want to buy farm equip. (backhoe, bush hog, box scraper, chipper) and build a cabin & pole barn. So, I'm somewhat concerned about advancing the timing too far.
