Just to satisfy my curiousity...is there such a thing as a [I]short box[I]dually, meaning one with the 6.5 foot box as opposed to the standard 8 footer? I believe this would be on the 115" (?) wheelbase.
Just wondering...

I believe the third gens have a 6.5' bed if the truck is a megacab. Not a crew cab but a true megacab. Never on our first gens though.

It would be fairly simple to do the dually conversion to a 1st gen.
It's going to happen with a RamCharger, eventually.

It involves some cutting and pasting, but it's not rocket science.

I keep you in the know on this.

Funny you should mention it but if I get the w350 I have my eye on this weekend that is the route I'm going but with an extended cab.

I think that would be a first and look so sweet!!!

Your truck is so good looking now. Can't wait to see it in a dually stance. That will look awesome.

What are you doing with the old bed ? Selling it, or hanging on to it? Not that I need one, but I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking it...
