It wasnt crushed or anything just moved onto the next owner. I guess it wasnt as bad as I describe but at that point I didnt have time to fix someone elses abuse.

Just to satisfy my curiousity...is there such a thing as a [I]short box[I]dually, meaning one with the 6.5 foot box as opposed to the standard 8 footer? I believe this would be on the 115" (?) wheelbase.

It would be fairly simple to do the dually conversion to a 1st gen.
It's going to happen with a RamCharger, eventually.
It involves some cutting and pasting, but it's not rocket science.

Funny you should mention it but if I get the w350 I have my eye on this weekend that is the route I'm going but with an extended cab.
I think that would be a first and look so sweet!!!

What are you doing with the old bed ? Selling it, or hanging on to it? Not that I need one, but I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking it...
