I have seen a few in my day, mostly in Montana. I always assumed they were factory built.
My boss had one the first year they had the Cummins, I think he special ordered it.

I have one. It's a 92. Unfortunatly one of the previous owners took the bed off and put and mason dump body on it. I've been looking for a dually bed for over a year since I bought it

Yes it was a normal truck offered. Not a special order at all. The problem is in late 91 Dodge came out with the club cab/cummins. Before that you could not get a cummins in anything but a regular cab. Everyone wanted a new club cab. I have seen two or three in my area. Club cabs were a much more desireable truck then. The funny thing W350 single wheel trucks are rare, but around me there are 4 or 5. I only have ever seen 2 or 3 W350 dual wheel reg cabs. But to answer your question. According to my 1991 ,1992, and 1993 Dodge truck dealer brochures. The W350 dual wheel regular cabs were a normal truck. Not a special order.

I have the remains of a Standard Cab '92 W-350 Dually, 5 speed in the back lot.
All that's left is the rolling frame with axles, rusty cab and rusty front clip.
Even has a red interior and had a tach.
I still see them around once in a while.
Mark.
