Rebuilding Front Suspension on D250
Moog and Napa parts are quite expensive. Autozone has Perfect Circle pieces for considerably less. Does the Cost difference equate to a noticable quality difference on these trucks?
And what shocks would you recommend?
Should I install Energy Suspension Plyurathanne bushings.
Truck is my weekend warrior hauler (RX-7's)

In my opinion.. Go MOOG. In my 1989 D250 I went through 3 sets of ball joints in 3 years till I got Moog.. The money spent up to that point made the MOOG purchase seem like pocket change. The other ball joints would last about 1 year (40,000 Km) and then be worn as well. I would notice the tire wear and take it in for alignment, nope balljoints again... > Fortunately the shop I went to warrentied the joints but I paid labour. After I put MOOG in, I drove it 2 years and sold it.
I put MOOG in this truck as well , uppers, lowers and centerlink.
I have always run Monroe Gas Magnums in my trucks, a good all around shock.

The Perfect Circle ball joints are actually manufactured by DANA and are very good quality.
In my opinion, polyurethane bushings are the only way to go for rigidity and long life. However, get a can of spray graphine paint (I use John Deere's Slip Plate) and spray both sides of each contact surface with the paint to avoid squeaking when the suspension moves.
Shock use is very dependent on how the truck is used. If it is used a great deal offroad, get gas pressurized premium shocks like Rancho's. If it is mostly used on the highway, get Sears best and the lifetime warranty that comes with them.

I put on Skyjackers the best money I ever spent, great on- road ride and good off-highway performance, oh and a life time warranty.
