Rear drum to Disk brake swap NE1 done it?

I bought the complete kit from TSM mfg and it is excellent. Much better stopping power! I did not change the proportioning valve and the e-brake cables ended up being a little long after installation so I used some cable clamps and looped them on themselves. Overall very pleased.

Some say that just upgrading to the Chevy 1 ton brake cylinders does the job, and much less complicated and expensive...
