They actually are not 1/2ton front springs up front. I comprimised on a set of 5 ply (factory RC had 3ply) instead of the factory diesel 6ply plus the bags. I am still up in the air for out back. I never plan to tow with it being I have the W350 but thats what we all say. I am thinking about air shocks just in case but still not sure.

Crossy I did not. I figure with over 500k miles on it that it will be ok for me. If it happens that I made the wrong decision I will deal with the consequences. Not trying to be cheap but after working with the motor out it shows tell tell signs its had motor work done already. Today was a good step forward. With a large amount of rain in tomorrows forcast who knows if I will get the vacuum pump off. I was chatting with a fellow member. I told him that the process of this swap and learning as I go is just as fun to me as the end result.
