If I were spending the money on a New New Turbo it would be a Phat Shaft. I like the HTT line but that shaft is HUGE that Industrial is using.

You'd be surprised how much fuel you can feed with a Stage4 turbo kit from HTT/ GDS, et al. With stock injectors, 160mm/ stroke (stock is 74mm), I still barely reach 1000deg, and it can run with the new (stock) ones.
If your turbo is going out, it wont normally make a rattling noise- it'll hum or moan if the blades are hitting the housing. You could be getting turbo surge, which again, calls for a HTT upgrade.
My 91 made a squealing/ rattling noise, and I could NOT figure out what it was. Turned out to be the head gasket.
WE need a high quality video sowe can all watch and listen . Your wife encouraging you to buy a new turbo is great- does she have any sisters?

Daniel, thanks for the reply - yes she has some sisters, but they are married and have bad attitudes. I got the pick of the litter so to speak... LOL
Man, I hope she never looks on this site for what I've been posting....
I will work on a video this week. Can a head gasket making that sound be visibly detected? What should I look for?
