Quick EGT ?

When I pull anything over 7000lbs it gets really hard to keep the egt's under 1250 in 4th gear, and in 5th just feathering the throttle i can bury the pyro with little effort. Now my question is, is this normal behavior for the mods in my sig or is it time for a bigger turbo?

Pretty normall...you're lucky you're only pushing 1250 with that setup.

I'm not sure who made the injectors but the guy I bought the truck from said they were 75hp. I wasn't sure if i had a boost leak or not,the most it will make is 21psi with or without a load.

Boost sounds low, check for leaks. How's the air filter?

I just installed a bhaf and replaced the slinky part with an aluminum tube last week. I did look a little while ago and found a boot that has a scape mark but doesn't look punctured. Where would be a good place to find a cheap replacement boot?

www.siliconeintakes.com or www.frozenboost.com

they're the same place, really. they're reasonably priced and have very good quality pieces IMO!

That's planned for this weekend along with a 2nd gen cast elbow and 4" down pipe.

not with the cast elbow but with the downpipe itself. it'll hit the firewall near the bottom. but i would think with a little modification to it, it would clear it enough. or you can take a small sledgehammer to your firewall

i'd also like to make the 2nd gen downpipe and cast elbow fit on mine for when i get this super 40/35 with a 14cm on mine.

Y not just eliminate the cast elbow, like mine. I'll look for a picture...

The cast elbow and 2nd gen DP will fit. Atleast if you buy one from these guys:

http://www.dieselperformancesystem.com/

It was a little tight at the firewall, but had atleast 1/2" clearance. That was with the 12cmWG. If you have the "short" 16cm you will have plently of room.

I used to have that setup when I ran the H1C.

Would you say an hx-35 with a 14cm WG housing would still yield about 1/2" clearance from the firewall? I just bought a super 40/35 and would like to run the elbow and 2nd gen downpipe. Mainly because I can find used ones for cheap rather than paying $200+ for a downpipe from source or stans. I wouldn't mind the source or stans downpipe but would only buy it if I absolutely have to.

I would think so. I thought I had a pic of it installed, but can't seem to find it now. The HVAC blanket thing was what it was getting close to. I'm sure it was sagging a little, the upper inside screw is torn out like most 1st gen's I have run accross.

That is the main reason I went that way, cheaper and easier to come by DP's.
