Quick clutch question on the Getrag

Hey guys, i think my clutch safety switch is going out. when i go to start my truck and push the clutch in, sometimes it will start right up, sometimes i have to push the clutch down a few times. does anyone know the part number for the safety switch and where it is located or easier than that, how to bypass it all together. thanks

Just take the plug off the switch and take a short wire and jumper from one wire to the other. Then you don't need to wear your thrust bearing out prematurely by pushing the clutch down to start.

Check to make sure that the clutch pedal pushrod still has bushings in it. Those plastic bushings wear out, and then the pedal and pushrod start eating each other. If your clutch pedal isn't higher than the brake pedal this is most likely your problem...

I just put a jumper wire in mine, it's been in there over a year with no issues. I am gonna check the pedal height now that I know my issues with the sensor could be caused by worn parts.

The plug is on the switch which is on this plastic sleeve that is on the rod from the peddle to the MC. There are only 2 wires on the plug so....
