There is a mag i get that has all sorts of custom ladder bars setups most of them look to be very adaptable to almost any housing out there... speedway motors is the name of the mag. I'm sure there is a website or something... Kits i've seen that bolt on seem to be for 9" and 10bolt rears. Weld on kits look to be universal and would be the route i'd go.

You can use 2 3/8" up to 2 7/8" with .25" wall you will have to sleeve them down from whatever size you go with to fit the tractor heim tubing. If you go with 2 7/8" sleve both ends with 2 3/8" so it necks down to 2 1/4" then sleeve the 2 3/8" with a piece of 2 1/4" so it necks it down to the size of the heim tubing. Be sure you drill tru every sleeve and pin it for extra strenght but it's not neccessary.

Do you want a ladder style setup like DNR's or a single tube setup like most pullers and me run?
Speedway Motors is local to me, I was actually at there parts counter today getting more steering joints but most of there suspension stuff is for circle burners and not heavy enough or long enough for our aplication.
I used 2 tractor links and they've been holding up good so far, had em on for about 2 years and I used 2" .135 cold rolled seamless tube. I have my tabs on the bottom plates but it would be better if they were welded to the axle tubes

If you do a single bar setup like Pulltilbroke, I would keep them long like he did, You'll have less binding issues. I would go no less that .120 wall.. Being a single bar, I would like to see it more around 3/16 wall or .250. Whatever suites your budget.
Here is a pic of a set I built, they were some budget bars I thru together for my brothers 77 ford.

They stop wheelhop. Especially when pulling sleds or drag racing.
No, they won't get your wheels off the ground unless you have some 4 digit torque numbers and some massive slicks!!

yeah i like my ladder bars but if i did it all again, I would go with just the big single solid tube setup and instead of the ladder style like mine, and make them longer, and mount them to the bottom of the u-bolt plate.
