Q's...Poppet check valve in return line w/electric pump setup
Alright....Got my poppet check valve in the mail.
Have an electric pump setup.
So I install the valve in the return line between the IP and the "T" fitting (by the rear of the engine).... right?
Then set it to 15-20 psi and turn the key and watch the gauge??
Or am I way off?

Depends on how big a pump you are running. A decent sized pump will cause too much backpressure in that 1/4" line. I suggest you run a separate return line, just tee into the filler neck vent line to dump the fuel back into the tank.

Hey Dave, this is kinda related, so I'll post up here. I just plumbed in 3/8'' feed line from the tank to the LP. I had a bunch of 3/8'' left, so I replaced the several-times-spliced return line with 3/8'' as well. Do you think that would flow the return of an aftermarket (walbro) setup along with the stock return? Not that I have any fuel pressure at all presently to worry about

I think its a 50-70 psi pump...
I used the stock 3/16 line off the IP to the "T" at the back of the motor. From there I have a 5/16 return line back to the tank.
Maybe I should ditch the 3/16 line also.....
