I would ( LOVE ) to have a rag/nv4500 but it just ain't in the cards right now.

my trans get very hot if i leave it in O/D, so it forces me to go slow.

oh yeh i could go 65-70 but i would be in the 26-2900 rpm range in 3rd, and thats just to high of a sustained rpm for me, i'm not a high winder any more.

I am looking into a swaybar now. would you mind to PM me your phone number and a good time you can talk, i would like to bend your ear a little about it.

Wouldn't a tighter torque converter model be the direction to look at? Less slip, less heat etc?

Yes sir...i think thats the direction a will be going right now, but i'm really a manual kinds guy, so i will do a swap some day.

Been a while since i updated this thread. In the last 6 months I've done all the wheel bearings, brakes, got the exhaust brake working, changed the water pump, put a new ignition switch in, and driven the crap out of it.

Since the last time I posted in this thread its been to IA a few times, made numerous tips to KS,Been to Illinois a few times and went to SOP in Indiana where I finally got to meet Dar.

Welp went on another little trip today. Ended up being in 4 different states today, Went south of KC KS to pick up truck with Mark today. truck also rolled over 398,000 today.

Tomorow the truck gets a much needed bath and detail job. Thing is absolutley filthy.
