Yeah it is.

I also forgot to mention I figure out how to wire the exhaust brake too. I just got to get a few switches and pull the brake valve out and get it freed up.

You mean the job you did where I had to go fix the leak, when you wouldn't return the guy's phone calls about the leak?

Just wondering.

Well I was at U pull it today looking for a few things for my old 60 K 10 and decided to do a once over on the Dodge area. (I had just been there yesterday snagging some trim for the 93 and a couple other things) anywho I got to looking at a Durango that was in there and I noticed it had a factory CD/Tape deck, Hmmm I thought that just might have to go with me. So it got pulled, I am always a little leary about buying electronics from junk yards. I got home and installed it and it works perfect.:wings: Now I'll be listening to tunes in late 90's style:coffeedrink: I think they only charged me 15$ too. Total bill there was 29 and change and that was for a good set of hood hinges for my 60 an the radio.

BTW any radio from I think 88-02 is plug and play, just a little FYI for you guys

yea you got lucky on it working, usually one bank or speakers won't work or a bunch of bulbs will be out. Or i had one that would play music but display was out.

Actually I put a 2000 Radio in my buddie's 83 D250, so the wiring is the same back to 81 probably. It's 1 grey and 1 black flat plug.

How come ya' didn't show them the roof rail trim, Andrew?

I did nab the '91 grille yesterday at the same yard, along with a Ram's head that had gotten hidden (And I found).

Cause I havn't taken a pic yet.

Did you hide it?

Yeah I noticed you grabbed the grille. I thought you were gonna grab this radio. I figured since you were there and it was still in the Durango that it was fair game.

No, I finally got the seat pulled forward on the '84 that had the cool steering wheel on it, and the head was just laying there.

Better you than me, on the radio.
I have a stack of those radios that don't work, so I learned that pulling them is often a futile effort.
They don't do well "out of the cage", so to speak.
Trust me, it'll eventually crap on you, it's just a matter of time.
I have one in the wedgebed and it works most of the time, but it'll "cd err" in the middle of a CD and lock the radio up unless I cut power to it.
The tape player is a fiasco, if you have a good tape you like, don't put it in there.

They really are a POS design.

Yeah most of the Dodge radios I've seen have a sticker of the electronic repair shop they were at.

Tapes?? People still use those????

Looks better sans running boards. I'm trying to convince my wife I need a 1990 2 WD model I found with 227K miles on it

So I dug into it a little later than expected but today I got all the old bent sheetmetal off and started goin back together with it. The PO really like to cobble stuff. There were a bunch of bolts missing and a bunch of other stuff wrong with it. I got halted by a door hinge that didn't want to cooperate. I tried putting the drivers fender on but it was touching the door and the fender couldn't move forward anymore, so I tried adjusting the hinge but it was so wore out that I still couldn't get it to work, So I went and picked up another bottom hinge from a buddy and got a couple of pin and bushing kits so I can adjust the door up good, The PO had em all out of whack.
