Proper way to add foglights
#4
This is my way of doing it ok. I would bring a wire from the battery to the relay from the relay to the fog lights, that gets power to the fog lights. Now find the wire that supplys the low beam on your head lights. Tap into that low beam wire and take your tap over to the relay coil. The other end of the relay coil will be grounded inside of the relay case. So when the low beams are on the relay will close and supply power to the fog lights.

go here http://www.classictruckshop.com/club...h/foglites.htm
Instead of hooking the wiring up to your ING or battery power (before the on off switch in the schematic) , hook it up to the + (hot) wire in your low beams.
When you turn on your high beams the fog lights will go off.

Perfect website, thats what I needed. Do the parts store hang them on the shelves, or do I need a "dummy vehicle" to go by. We only have a radio shack and "advance auto"
