My 1991 non ic W250 starts immediatly in cold weather but I has a blue exhaust haze that will not go away unless I drive it...in other words if I let it idle for 15 minutes it will haze the whole time. Not a problem in warm weather but very noticable now that its in the teens here at night. It never misses or stumbles. I know these trucks dont generate a lot of heat at idle but it seems excessive compared to others I own or have owned. Anyone have similar (or not similar ) cold start experiences...Thanks

Mine is the same. I am chalking it up to injectors but really dont know.

Same here on my 94. Having just had the injectors cleaned, I figured the truck is just getting too much fuel for the cold air and cylinders to burn. It kinda reminds me of a cold 2 stroke in winter. I'm not real worried at the moment.

Ditto. It's just at idle it never gets warm enough to clean it up. If you watch it close, it gets worse the colder it gets. Both my rigs do the same thing when cold.

Thanks...I dont drive either of them in winter when there is salt or snow on the road and I guess it just seemed excessive when I pulled them outside and started them. I let them both run in for 20 minutes with elevated throttle and both still a little smokey. I guess thats why the new ones have all the emission crap.
