Yeah last summer my dad bough a new mig welder and the first thing he welded was that piece of exhaust pipe to his Simplicity. (It doesn't function) It was free to a good home, and we needed it cuz our John Deere gave up the ghost. He obviously doesn't care for it much. Thanks for the comments! gonna have to get more pics of that rack up, I got it all painted now.

THAT BUMPER LOOKS GREAT AS WELL! Can I ask what the space is for above the reciever? I'm really hoping I can see more progress on the truck later this weekend as well!

Hmmm, weird...what happened to the pictures of the bumper, and a few of the posts?? Maybe it seemed like I was advertising a product...ok, I guess I can understand that, but to take out the pictures too...kinda of ridiculous.

Anyways I'll post more pictures of the bumpers when they are on the truck.

Schamran the space is just a step kinda of like the stock rear bumper, but waaay meaner looking

Not too much going on with the truck right now. Depending how my weekend goes i'll try and tear apart my interior and get it all painted up. Or I may just invest in some Rest & Relaxation

Yes that is precisely what happened...Advertising on this forum is strictly reserved for those fine people that spend their hard earned advertising dollars here helping to keep this forum FREE for the rest of us.

You can post a photo of your new bumpers but if the manufacturer comes in here posting photos or information about the products he is selling, that IS the very nature of advertising. Naturally it would not be proper for me to allow a non sponsor the same benefit of advertising here that our PAID sponsors receive.

Kinda ridiculous you say? Yes posting that info here certainly was and the reason it was removed

I figured as much, my most sincerest apologies Lary. I was not referring to the the removed advertising as being rediculous, I absolutely understand that. Did not realize that the comments were posted with the pictures, but if they were than I understand. Have a great day, and thanks for the awesome forum that you have helped give us......my truck would not be the same if it weren't for DTR

Cheers

That is a very nice looking piece!!!! I to dont care for the top but as long as the guy paying for it is happy thats what matters. If you build one for your self maybe put a cummins C on it lol...

The space is actually filled now...it is a box to support the hitch. Most bumpers I've seen have a 500lb tongue capacity. Figured Scott may need a little more. This thing should support 1000lbs easily.
