Problems after turning the fuel up, need help

OK so i messed with the pump on my truck a little today. First i took the collar off the fuel screw and turned the screw in about 3 turns. After that the truck started fine. Then i opened the top cover and took the "fuel pin" out and ground it just a little, and reinstalled. Now the truck will not start. It will turn over fine but will not start up. I even tried a little spray of starting fluid and it wouldnt start (i know i shoudlnt use starting fluid but i just wanted to see if that would help). I have broke loose all the injector lines at the injectors and they are getting fuel. They did seem to have air in the lines, so i bled them and it still will not start.

I need the get this truck on the road asap so any thoughts or suggestions on what i might have did wrong or anything that could possibly help will be gratly appreciated.

Oh yeah the truck is a '90 W250 4x4 auto, of course w/ the cummins, and all stock except for the mods i tried today

I think you knocked the wire off the shutoff solenoid.

I hope wires are what it is.

With this question though... can one diagnose for sure that one or the other didn't cause the problem?

1. Fuel Screw

2. Fuel Pin.

Those are meaty details that I would like to hear.
How could it, why wouldn't it?

Best Regards
TRDunn

the only way a fuel screw would afect the starting is if its out to far
and the pin wouldnt affect it
check the wires

pull the screw out stick it in the vise and get a good pair of vise grips and lock them on and rip it off, dont worry about the treads to much but dont mess them up completly
