The price is right??

Looking at a '92 4x4 3/4 ton CTD club cab manual tranny with all beefy upgrades originally ordered by this original owner. I'm talking the frame is for a 1 ton, the gearing, suspension, etc. It's got 200,000 miles and he want's $6,500.00. What's good, guys? Carmyne

I could be wrong but I think its high. You can find a 96-98 ext cab 1-ton 4x4 dually with the auto or manual for $2K more with less miles.

Thats the going rate for a good body/drivetrain. Don't buy into the beefy upgrade crap. They are all the same, frames, suspension, gearing etc. Only options are 3.54 or 4.10 gearing, overload leafs on rear and tranny cooler on autos.

I'd have to see it for that price. For that price, I'd want no dents, very little rust, or should I say the usual rust, no leaks on drivetrain etc. For that price I'd prefer one where the owner already upgraded the turbo and injectors, and gauges. Since you're gonna want POD's, hx35, and gauges. Need tranny rebuild, brakes, alignment, speedo work, tires, saggy rear, steering shaft??? All typical Dodge truck issues you're gonna have on a $10k 1st gen or a $500 1st gen.
