Hey CarKeys, it sounds like you're trying to navigate the complex world of state inspections, which can indeed vary significantly from one state to another. If you're concerned about passing these inspections and want to ensure your vehicle is up to par, especially considering the technicalities like emissions and safety features, you might want to consider getting a vehicle inspection report . It offer comprehensive inspection report that could help identify any potential issues before you head to the inspection station. This way, you can address any problems in advance, reducing the risk of failing the inspection. It's always better to be proactive, especially with something as important as vehicle safety and compliance. Plus, it might save you a headache and some cash in the long run!

When considering a vehicle with over 100k miles, it's essential to obtain a detailed vehicle inspection report. This report can highlight any existing or potential issues, giving you a clearer picture of the vehicle's condition. For a newer Explorer, make sure to check for documented regular services and any recalls or technical service bulletins, especially regarding exhaust or engine concerns. An inspection can provide peace of mind and help you make an informed decision.

Does anyone have any leads on good reliable pedal pads for clutch and brake pedal that will fit a 93? Everything ive found online that looks reputable says its specifically for 91 and older and will not fit 92 and 93.

So you are saying the clutch and brake pedal pads change in '92 enough that they will not work well on a '91?
Since I drive a '91.0, '92 and '93 W-250 12V - 5 speed I guess I can check it out myself.

I would not trust FSS or Geno's to know the exact years that certain parts fit.

I think the only pedal pad that changed, if you don't count the 1972 to 1980 floor mounted accelerator pedal, was the parking brake pedal sometime in 1991. I have trucks from the 70s and 90s and I know the brake and clutch pads interchange.

LMC Truck lists them from 1972 to 1993 also, but they are not the experts in vintage Dodges

Perhaps any time any of us see what we suspect are AI posts we should report that post to the moderators and ask for that person to be banned. I will do that now for this apparent AI post.

That may be our only recourse. I wonder if the Mods can determine whether a "member" is real or fake? Thanks Mexstan.
