Pop tested my injectors
I took my injectors out last night, soaked them in some DK, brushed the chunks off them this morning and took the to Imler Diesel to be tested. 5 of the 6 were right on at 245 Bar, but the 6th wouldn't build pressure at all, so I'm thinking this, along with the stuck fuel pin were the cause of my high temps and hazing/smoke clouds.
Picking up a new (rebuilt) injector from Diamond Diesel tomorrow ($65 exchange) and should have her running again tomorrow night. It should be interesting to see if I can tell the difference with all 6 cylinders fueling correctly.
I can't wait!

Next up will be the 56mm compressor that PapeCat gave me today. That should provide enough air to allow for some more turns on the full fuel screw!
Maybe my next run to Montana will be at 95MPH instead of 85MPH?

You'll see that the cheaper per tank Stanadyne lubricity formula performs better than the more expensive performance blend.. Interesting study though...

What bothers me about it is that the amounts of used motor oil and 2 cycle oil they use is so low. I use 12 times or more of WMO from what that study did, so the difference has to be much more signifigant.
