Ok... I am getting pretty good warm air coming from all my vents... But the airflow is very minimal... It has to be on high to push the little air that comes out... High feels like low on a newer vehicle... So... do you guys think it is

cut open box and clean it out...

When I got the truck I removed at least a complete nest of some sort through the vent holes on the passanger side down by the floor using some magic fingers and a vacume... But I still think there is stuff in there, because every know and then some straw blows out and is laying on the floor.... So what do ya think should be the first move??

Mine does it too, I think it needs the procedure that is in the tutorial.

That procedure is really just for if you don't have good airflow with AC as its to clean off the condenser. But for low airflow on heat, I don't really know.

Might start with pulling the blower motor out and look in that hole for some rats nest. Maybe?

mine is weak too. i put a new blower motor in but its still weak. my heat isnt that great either

I have good airflow, cleaned out the leaves and gunk form the airbox in front of the heater core, but poor heat.. Lines get hot but the heater core must be plugged up?

mine was a bad fan selector switch would not carry the load anymore, i just replaced it with another from a gasser truck.

my blue truck was good fan low heat, blew out the heater core and all is good

Put a relay on the blower motor. The main issue is lack of power to the blower. Feed it a full 12 volts and watch it go. There should be a thread to show how. I know that if you run the a/c on high without the relay the underside of the steering column gets hot, cause dodge ran all the power through a small switch just like with the headlights.

If you have crap blowing out the vents, clean the box first.

mine does this too. I even put it on a toggle switch with a relay directly from the battery and i still hardly have any airflow. I also put a new motor in it.

So, do you think the best spot to cut it open is where the pic shows in the Sticky... Wish I would have known when I had the dash board out... Would have been a wee bit easier!! I'll let you guys know.. Might tackle this tomorrow..

Does it blow good on defrost ? if so it may be the vacum doors arent working.

mine are all the same blowing strength. I even thought that it was the control switch for all of the different settings and bought a new one and it didn't help at all

well, defrost is the weakest and the vent's sticking out of the dash are the strongest...

Go to the "stickies" and check out the cut out method. I did mine and it was 80% bolcked by pine needles etc. I installed a clear plastic cover over the hole so I can see if/when it might need to be done again. The job was easy and I rarely set my fan above the second speed - most of the time that will blow you ut of the cab.

Well I found the culprit... Id say it was pretty plugged... The air is screaming out of the vents now!!!
