Good afternoon everyone,

I have been reading up on the PoD's and think I would like to add them. I had a couple of questions before making the purchase.

I live in Salt Lake City and we have to get the diesel's smogged here yearly. By adding the PoD's I understand it will smoke a lot more, will this make it fail emissions?

Also, will I have to do any pump adjustments if I add the PoD's?

The PoD's claim 75hp increases, is this acurate?

I cant tell you if it will pass a smog test or not but the smoke is not that bad. It will haze at idle and if you lug it down and stand on it. One of the reasons I went to POD's was for the power increase without turning up the pump therefore getting more life from the pump.

With mild AFC settings you should be able to pass a snap test. Back the smoke screw all the way out, set the cone to the shallow side, and it shouldn't smoke much when you blip it.

0.020" injector coppers and lots of timing are the secret to a clean(ish) idle.

I need a set of pod's for a project truck, I guess I will have to buy them new. Where is the cheapest place to get them? The man who made the set I had no longer dose injectors for the pickup market

TB, ebay will be the cheapest ~$325-$350. Seller ' raelyne ' was who I bought a set from years ago. I see they don't have any right now. You might search for that seller and email them.

I did what brother "bgilbert" did.

She buys them in boxes of 50 or 100 and splits them into packages of six, then sells them on eBay. Good service.
