Well I heard that Rickson only paid 108 Dollars for their 19.5 aluminum wheel blanks. But then mark them up to 500 dollars each, add tires that are about 300-500 dollars each, lug nuts and covers, and then add special match balancing fees and shipping and that is how you get up to 4-5K for these wheel packages.

My gasket stayed together when I removed the front cover from my motor. So when I put it back on, I just cleaned it up real good and used a very small bead of RTV on it. So I will not need the gasket. Thanks for the offer.

If you can get by with the slightly reduced amount of space, I'd go for a cabover. You can get them into a lot more places that you can get a trailer into, and there is a lot less maintenance and no registration and easier to pull!

Jesus - I know the ricksons are a little bit expensive... If you like the look of them I'd recommend getting "Ford Alcoas" They came stock on pre super duty SRW F250/F350 and Seen often on E250/E350 Vans up till recently. I have had two full sets of these at one point but with some bartering for the ricksons went one set and I sold the other set (like new no miles) to a local TDR buddy. Either way, I did run the wheels for a while. They look like the ricksons...

But they are 16X7 aluminum 8 bullet holes and 3750 Lb load weight rating @ 110 PSI. They are listed as "Trailer wheels" on Alcoa's site as well and you can buy them new for about 200 a piece. Buuuuuuuuut if you are able to find them off a ford or in a scrap yard, you're golden. Sometimes you see these wheels on CL for real cheap. One set I found and bought on CL were advertised as Alcoa "lookalike/style" ford stock rims from an E250... I snapped up all four with tires for just over 200 bucks. So they're out there. Unfortunately I don't have any good pics of them on my 2wd D250 like I said but I have pics of them on Travis' Truck. Also a bonus, with new tires they balance right up with hardly any weights on the wheels.... Straight and true as an arrow.
