Thanks, This was my first time playing with copper.

I used the 5/8"s ferrules on all the ends. Your water filter post made a nice starting point but deviated when it came to location since I had a lot of unused space under the exhaust manifold.

Where in socal are you located? Id be interested in seeing your truck first hand.
I live in Covina, 30 miles East of Los Angeles between I-210 and I-10 Fwy off Hwy.39 Azusa Ave.
Where do you live?

Wow that is nice, did you repaint it or is that the factory paint?
Do you wax under the hood?

I never knew there was that much room between the brake booster and the bulkhead connector, I guess I have a few wires going that way that you don't seem to have.

I brought my 1993 down here last month but from now on I can only take my company car (prius) or fly the airlines...

It used to be a good deal to drive @ .55 a mile for 800 + miles rnd trip.

Hey,
You are about 30-45 minuets away without traffic, I-5 through the crush, to I-57 North past Anaheim Stadium to the I-10 West then just over Kellogg Hill.

Thanks Jim, it is still the original paint. I'm not sure why the paint on mine has lasted as well as it has, these trucks definetly had their paint issues. And yes I do wax it under the hood. Keeps me outta trouble.

The non-intercooled trucks have the brain box for the intake heaters and KSB mounted in that space. Intercooled trucks have a PCM mounted between the battery and fender instead.

The valve covers are polished then chromed to keep them looking good. It will be going back in my 85 Gmc 1/2 ton. I had it in the truck for 1 year and a little over 15000 miles Then i got this hair brained idea to redo the whole truck. LOL. I totaly took the whole truck apart and now the body is at the paint shop waiting for new paint. It has been there since june they are not moving real fast but i hope to get it back soon. The little 4BT got bored over .020 with malah pistons. went with a PDR quick spool cam. DDP 40hp injectors. Working on getting a ATS aurora 3000 turbo. And a PDR fuel pin.
It is killing me having the motor just sitting there. I cant wait to get her back in the truck. I will post some more pics as i progress And thanks for the kudos. There are alot of great people here and a lot of cool trucks Thanks guys.

Bout time you got that dang thing on there, Lookin good. Any clearence issues with the older hood?

I notice its kicked up on the right side, can you clock the compressor side towards the drivers side to set it down a tad?
