There's a thought, been suggested before. Thought about bringing up a pair in front of the sleeper, right behind the cab. The question I haven't answered is how Loud they would be. One thing is that this truck is used to go moderate distances (just finished a 1500 mile vacation trip). After a while the noise is a bit much.... I do like the sound of a good exhaust, but... I also like the stereo.... .

So until I get some $$ and can be assurred that I can do it so as to not raise the noise level, I think it will probably remain the same.

Here you go...
Looking from passenger side of the sleeper. The walls are upholstery fabric with a little padding pulled tight over 3/8's inch plywood. The fabric and plywood secured with 1.25" stainless screw with a finish washer. The sleeping pad is on a 3'' mattress puchased to fit in the sleeper.

Next two pictures showing how the crawl though was upholstered.



I padded the crawl through and it is sealed with an accordian boot. It does a nice job of limiting noise thru the back.

The sleeper is insulated with R13 which keeps it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I haven't hooked up the sound to the sleeper but probably will in the near future. The original interior also had a forced fresh air vent that I am debating on putting back in. In the 15 years of history of the truck there has only been a few times it has ever be turned on. Usually the door vents are adequate.

One other thing is that the lower compartments have become tool bins on either side with about a 6'inch communicating space all the way across...

Thanks, my wife helped alot with the interior. I uploaded a picture that shows the back better and it will be in my gallery after approval. From work they block my access to FTP to my personal site so we don't have instant gratification.

The flat bed is old and has survived a few trucks. Due to the nature of abuse the bed gets, I just roll white rustoleum paint onto it periodically. Seems to match ok and it is easily available.
