what does a p pump motor run like with ve pistons?

just fine why? I am assuming your talking about a non-intercooled motor.

with a non-intercooled motor you can run more timing and still keep the spray in the bowl due to the larger piston bowls.

They run perfectly fine and I would just run a standard gasket unless head been shaved.
