One problem solved
I posted several questions about my low power problem and was about to spend $77.00 on a lift pump. Well today I found the culprit. I was looking around the fuel pump and noticed that the air fuel control tube was broken in half!!! It wasn't very noticable because it was still perfectly in place but the tube was broken. I replaced the tube and had great power the first time I drove it. I also removed my air box and am now running a bare filter. The turbo spools up louder than ever and I think it has even more power than my other truck

Thanks, I will check mine.
I wonder if spraying carb cleaner or soapy water around that pipe and other air componets like intercooler connections would detect a visual leak?

Carb cleaner won't work, diesels have no vacuum. Soapy water would work if you pressurized the intake system. I'd just do a visual inspection of the AFC tube to make sure it isn't broken like Adam's was.
