I can't help thinking a proper physical would be much better; its timing adjustment primary among the things to examine.

Why not just take a propane torch was some kind of diffuser and heat the intake manifold. Or get one of the little radiant heaters and do the same thing, didn't take but about 10 minutes. Just my two cents, Mike
