Hey guys, all in the title. My buddy said they were tached out when he got to my house and the vents were blowing really hot air, and the unit was shut off. Had him start it back up and pull it in the shop and the gauges were back to normal but still had hot air coming from the vents. No signs of leaks, the truck never leaks a drop. Anybody got any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would say grounding and false readings, put a mechanical gauge on and verify. On my Ramcharger the Temp gauge would act all flaky like that until I reseated the gauge.

Got it figured out. The blend door for the heater was stuck open so that was the cause of the hot air. And yes loose grounds were the reason for the gauges
