Oil pressure gauge

Where would you say that my stock oil pressure gauge needle should be pointing at idle and under load (normal driving)?
It's still within operating range, but hangs between the first two hash marks, which seems a little low to me.
I recently replaced an oil pressure sender and I also suspect a weak ground somewhere to the gauge cluster. Just curious since I think that I remember it standing straight up.
Also, that's what she said.

Put in a mechanical gauge.

I worried about low oil pressure unnecessarily for a long time.

I know. Should have done it years ago.
Same with fuel pressure.

I'm thankfull for any responce, but I would like to confirm whether or not if I'm crazy-stupid, or my gauges are out of whack, or both or all three.

the factory oil pressure gauges are not very reliable.
I have 2 1st gens that hang very low on the gauge, to the point where every spring I check them with a mechanical oil pressure gauge I hook up temporarily.

Once I see that hanging just above the lowest bar means about 60PSI I continue with enjoying my truck for the summer.

Check it with another gauge, I hook mine to the oil filter head, which has an extra plugged port on it. Or add one to the dash full time. Or stress out over what is likely not an issue.
