Oil Drain hose, and wiring gremlin

Well I have a 93 with a hx40 and the oil drain hose was leaking i tried to replace it, but could not seem to find the right size hose, I tried 3/4 but it was to small, 5/8 looked big but that's the next size up advanced has. I will try this tomorrow, on the fitting on the turbo one side is flat and the rest is a half circle. Also my marker lights all stopped working and I cant seem to find the problem, the wire in the engine bay is ok and i replaced the inline fuse that was installed, where should I check next?

If it's new, maybe some wires are loose behind it?

3/4" hose is larger than 5/8" hose, might be 7/8"
You need to make sure you get oil resistant hose, regular coolant hose would break down very rapidly and you could have an oil fire if it sprays on the hot exhaust, but you knew that.
A good NAPA might have oil resistant hose.

Sorry about the 3/4 ANd 5/8 mistake I wasnt thinking straight, I got 1 inch hose as it was the next size up and it fits fine, just need to make it shorter now I think as it has a kink in the line where it comes down from turbo and back up to the drain. Thanks guys . Now i just gotta figure out this wiring problem. And yep I got the oil resistant tube

The fuse box, head light switch, or ignition switch would be where I would start the hunt.

Well I tore into the wiring a lil more tonite, and i have power from the wire back to the fuse box and out of the fuse box out to the main wiring harness. I didnt tear into the headlight switch because i was unsure if it was it because headlights, brakes and turn signals all still work. I didnt know if my cab lights and markers were on a different pin then those lights. also noticed that my headlight switch gets hot to the touch after a few minutes. i think its time to put my headlights on relays
