Question OEM Steering Coupler Part Number?

I think I need to replace the rag joint on my steering. If any body has the OEM part number I would appreciate it. I hate to go to the local dealer and rely on the parts counter help, know what I mean? I know a new shaft would be nice but for now I'm going to try this temporary fix.

Thaks in advance.

I think this is the place I bought mine from, they have an online catalog you can look it up. My local dealer wanted about $86 for the housing and innards and I got the whole thing from these guys for around $52. So if you can wait it is worth the mail order time. Here is another link to a parts page with prices for the rag joint and the coupler housing and shoes.

Re read your post, you said rag joint I thought you meant the coupler, but listed info on both.

Please don't lump all dealer parts guy's into the same catagory. Part number for the coupler body is 52006912, the internal pieces come in a little kit. Part number for that kit is 4443436ac. Body should run you about $60.00 and the internals will run you about $10.00. The body may be a little hard to find as Chrysler is trying to source a new manufacurer for it. I have seen more times than not that the internal pieces kit will fix all problems because the housing is usually not worn out.

TRAVIST. Thanks for the part numbers. I'm sorry if I offended you with my remark about the dealers counter help. You are right, I have encountered some very good help at dealerships and some bad, I guess I tend to remember the bad ones first. The remark was in poor taste and I apologize.

DJ. Thanks for the website info, I forgot that the wwebsite was so extensive.

Thanks for the help.
