OD Being Finicky (TPS - Temperature?)

Hey folks,

My OD keeps trying to find itself when getting up to and going highway speeds, eventually it shifts into fourth but can take awhile. I keep adjusting the TPS to where it reads 1.00 on the meter and it shifts perfectly for some time but it ends up doing the same thing after awhile and I have to adjust it again.

Its starting to get real cold up here in Manitoba so I wonder if temp has anything to do with it... or if I need a new TPS - I'm not really sure. My temp sensor was replaced just over a year ago so I don't think that's the issue but it could be. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

TPS wears out eventually. I tried cleaning and adjusting, then went with a pentameter. Got tired of messing with that and a long time member here made me a diode setup that bypassed my TPS. Been working perfectly for about a decade now. He was a whiz with electronicals but not been on here for a while now...
