The time has come for the getrag to go. They don't make a 1.375 input for the rag to run a dual disk so out it goes. I broke the bank a few days back and bought the dual disk from peter at south bend. Made a call to a friend of peters and bought a NEW NV4500 and had it torn down and upgraded with the updated 5th mainshaft, 1.375 input, and cast iron rear extension housing thus it is the NV4500 Ultra Heavy Duty. Bought the stuff necessary for the conversion as well. It cost more than the truck did 3 years ago.
