Np205 a/t to m/t input shaft able to swap

As the title says. On mobile so itl b short but i swapped from auto to fully rebuilt g360 six months ago and the manual np205 has a bit of slop in it and the auto np205 that was in mu truck before the swap feels like new. I assume its the same shaft just different splines. Just wondering before i spend a day swapping to make sure its going to work. As in the shaft from the manual np will fit in the auto np

The auto case would need bored for the bigger shaft and bearing. Just use the manual case and swap all the good stuff into it, ie rebuild/rebearing if necessary.

He doesn't need that coupler. He has everything in his possession. The main thing being the manual case and input shaft. The rest of the 205 parts are the same. You're just looking at two tear down and rebuilds. It's not that tough and it's free since you have everything.

Thank you bgilbert, thats the answer i was looking for. So what im looking at is pulling internals from auto and putting them in manual case with manual input shaft correct?

Also thanks for posting that adapter but i figured for 30 dollars for input and output seals and a tube of rtv that i was ahead of the game since thats all it would cost. I do appriciate posting the link though. Thank you
