at first glance I realylike it, but then what kinda truck has those rims/tires? that wouldn't make it across the flat pasture, let alone the creek.......

Another example of someone with more money than brains , with those 20" wheels. Notice the 5 lug pattern ie 1/2 ton rearend... Nice paint job on the engine though...

I like it too ... not too sure that the 1/2 ton frame and running gear will hold up too long, but it looks nice.
The batmobile color scheme for the seats might be a little much for my taste.

I had the idea of putting the engine and an OD trans in my brothers half ton. I didn't do it, but the frames were the same on the 91 donor and the 87 half ton. The only concern I had was the 1/2 ton axles and wether they would hold up or spit the posi unit right out the cover.

If it doesn't have to work for a living and nobody turns the motor up too much the half ton rear will be fine.
Looks to me like the whole motor was spray bombed after it was already in the truck - notice the paint on the hose clamps. I'd certainly give the $2k it's bid to thus far for it though.

Is it my imagination or is the front bumper bent or twisted? I wonder how many miles it gets to a set of ball joints considering how long the ball joints last in the 3/4 T 2WD's.

Yelp head and new gasket are on but, the oil cooler is out. I need to rig up an oil pressure tester, im gonna use a coolant tester and do some jerryriggin. I had the truck running for like 30 mins. then it blew a heater line (my idioticself didnt have it tightened all the way) and i shut the truck down, and noticed some oil in the radiator, i figured it was just redisue, so i check the oil and sure enough there was water in to oil. my luck solve one problem get another.

That thing needs a better rear end and some drag skinnies up front, with it's weight compared to our monsters it could be a killer fast drag truck with drivetrain work, try to imagine, then go fiberglass tilt front end, paint ramchargers on the side in candy apple red.
