Non I/C Injecters

Looking at injectors to do at the same time as my turbo. I had been looking at the DDP's but I am not sure I they make them for the Non I/C trucks. Can some one inform me please. Also does anyone have any personal preferences between the POD's,DDP's,BD's,Bully Dog etc. Injectors. Please post your preference and your reason behind it. Thanks.

I run EDM's quite a bit higher but a lot more atomazation, which means less smoke and more power. But then most of the young ones like the smoke.

They don't make a 'special' aftermarket injector for our early trucks, rather, a 'special' adapter/washer..kind of a sleeve to fill in the blank between the 7mm tip and 9mm hole in the head. More and more of the folks making big power with 1st gens say two things about PODs: Too much smoke, not enough power. I've heard good things about the DDP's, but for what you pay for the stage IV's (is there really any other stage?) you're knockin' on the door of some custom built EDM's from schieds...

I agree 100% dont get us wrong PODS will give you power, but there are better options.

pods are used a lot because they give you a bunch of fuel for very little money relative to the more pricey (but much better) EDM's

I would still recommend POD's for a play truck on a budget. You can make enough power to have plenty of fun with them. EGT and smoke are bad for the power they make, but they are the cheapest way to get 300 HP.

Do not buy POD's if:
Smoke bothers you
You care about in-town fuel economy
You tow heavy
You want more than 300 HP
