No radio, dome light or dash light.
I parked my truck on friday, no problem. I started it up on monday and the radio is dead and dome light and the little light that lights up center of dash. The backlight on the guages still works fortunately. I checked the fuses and it's still intact. Any help out there? I am retaded with wiring.

it's not a fusible link (guess it could be) but this just happened on my 92 not to long ago, couldn't figure it out at first... i believe it's slot #12 on the fuse box it's the "int lts/dome" fuse. it's up next to the 3-5 amp fuse, top of the block on the right, for some reason if you pull that fuse it kills the radio as well. mines got a 10amp in it... not sure it that's the right one or what i had laying around hope this helps! (don't mess with those fusible links unless you absolutely HAVE to! )

Thanks for all your help guys. I am going to check that fuse for the dome light, I think I might have missed that one. I agree about not messing with the fusible links unless absolutely necessary, I had to do it once before, what a pain.

I told you guys I was a wiring retard. I checked the dome light fuse at the top of the block and it was smoked. I guess I just never noticed it up at the top before. I checked the radio fuse and after finding it was good I just assumed that it must be a wiring problem. We all know what happens when we assume. Thanks alot.

only reason i knew to point you in the correct direction is that i spent an hour or 2 trying not ot fix it the easy way lol. i never seem to look for the obvious... johnny, when you eventually do you front brakes let me save you some trouble.... you DON'T have to disconnect the brake line to change the pads i wasn't the only one to think that (thankfully) but man i felt stupid when i saw how hard i was making it on myself!
