New truck (my second 12v), new questions...
Picked up a 92 d350 in Florida 2 weeks ago. Bought it from a young guy who had a kid, and had just purchased a 98 24v extended can truck, so he needed money.
Mechanically the truck is solid, had my buddy who is the transmission guy at the local Dodge dealer give it a shakedown, only things that stood out were a leaking tranny pan gasket, and a leaky power steering line (fixed)
The kid claims that the truck has 5x14 DD injectors, and a 16cm housing on the stock turbo. the truck does have a cold air kit, factory intercooler, oil, egt, boost, water temp gauges, and believe it or not a B&M floor mounted shifter, which I hated at first, but its grown on me. There is no rust, being from Florida, but it appears every truck the Chrysler corporation made has donated a part to this truck. Luckily the fenders are straight, and I'm almost done painting the truck anyway. The wiring was redone in only the way a 20 year old could do it, it's sound work, with most things being put on relays, like electric fans, headlights, etc etc, but it could stand some conduit.
Anyways, my big mystery is the so called "agricultural" VE pump that was put on at Shiver diesel in Florida. I know nothing about these pumps. It looks like a regular VE with the AFC removed. It's new, less than 1000 miles on it, and supposedly has a 3200 spring, and I can see where they bumped the timing. Fuel has been turned up as well.
I KNOW EVERYONE WANTS PICS! I'll take some tomorrow! I promise!
Truck also has 4 inch exhaust back to twin bed stacks too, PLUS, the kid had a hood stack all made up too, if I want to go that route.
Any info about the weird VE pump I would appreciate it, thanks guys for helping a noob out!

That pump is designed to run at a certain rpm. It's not good for the street, if it works then it works, but I'd start looking for a regular pump. Also I think I remember some of them having smaller head and rotors.
