New Tires

I finally got a new set of BFG's yesterday because my old ones were wafer thin and starting to show cord under flaps.

I have to say that the BFG's are very superior to any tire I have tried in wear. This time I went with the 10 ply (load range E) rated KO's and got the whole set for $830. I had them use tape weights because rim weights start hitting the fenderwell as soon as I start up my road!

I don't know how quitet your Michelins are, but the BFG's are very quiet when they are new. I can't say enough good things about them. I have tried many sets of other brands, some lasting as little as 9 months.

My tires are lasting longer too because they paved most of our road. Gravel roads and steep grades really eat tires quickly.
