New tailgate?
My tailgate is pretty much done. I mean it works but it has a huge dent on the top (like somebody dropped a 4" diameter steel pipe on it) and the clips on the sides are bent. For now I need to get some tailgate wires (the wires that go on either side and hold the gate flat. Where would I get this? I was thinking of robbing some off a junkyard gate and putting them on mine.
Eventually I want to replace the tailgate as a whole so it doesnt looks so bad. Are there any companies that make replacements or would the junkyard be the way to go?

Most iv seen are for non duallys, good idea get one of those and mount your lights under the gate. looks good and protects them a bit. but best thing no wires to unplug if you need pull the gate off.

I wish I could find a good gate off of a non dually. the parts are hard to find around this area. my gate is all welded together. and I have to use the lock mechanisms on the ends to open mine. the only aftermarket gates that I have seen do not come with the hardware.

I was to cheap to buy a original or salvaged tail gate for my old Ford F250 so I opted for an after market. BIG MISTAKE . It was so weak that a 200 pound man carrying a head board buckled the darn thing while I watched. There is no metal in some of the replicated parts. Hold out for an original if you can.
