Yeah I did a lot of tire research before I settled on these.

Been a while since I've had tall skinnys on this truck.

I've seen a lot of those lately and wondered how they were. Let us know how you like them.

Those 3rd gen rims just look great on your truck. Those tires look like they will do some serious digging.

Thumbs up

The KO All Terrains do better in the snow, but congrats BFG makes a great tire. All I have ran on mine for 20 years. Keep them rotated and you'll get 5/50k easy.

Does it seem like there is a lot of rotational drag on smooth roads? Do they feel bumpy at low speeds? That is a hard siz to find, I'm trying to figure out how much the mud tread would impact fuel mileage and how they would be in the rain.

Are those tires E load range? Although I am a very big fan of mud terrain type tires,I have had a few different varities on my gas rigs, I can't see the soft compound of a mud terrain lasting long under the weight of the cummins! Maybe the KM2's are different but they sure look sweet!
Show us some pics after 20,000 miles. Oh,I guarantee the noise level is noticeably different after a few thousand miles!!

Mike337, On the hard pack yes the KO do a lot better but in the deep stuff a heavy lug tire will out perform any AT.

Bookshelf, There is a lot less drag and they are much smoother than the old 35s i was running, I'm actually expecting a milage increase with these as they are 2.5" narrower than the 35s.

Marf75, Yes they are a Load range E tire. I have done a lot of reading and have found that if you take care of em, Rotate, Check pressure, and keep the front end in shape that people are getting about 40-50,000 out of em. I guess we'll find out.

As far as noise level The old KM2s I took off the back were quiet too.
