New member needing guidance 93 w350

Hello fellow first gen enthusiasts. I am new to the forum and after some advice from a buddy I have finally made an account. I'll try to keep it short and sweet, I bought a 93 ext cab w350 in pieces about a year ago and it's been a continuing labor of love since the purchase. The truck runs and drives well and has some pep in its step yet but I have been running into some trouble finding parts, correct parts that is. I'm a farmer so I don't have all the time in the world to work on it so doing any kind of custom fabricating isn't something I want to tackle because of time. I'm looking for the front bumper mounting brackets that attach to the frame rail, ( i currently have a pipe bumper ) Any idea of where I might be able to find some?

Thanks

Something like that will have to come from a donor truck.
Two different front bumpers were used. One was a basic chrome bar and the other was a step style bumper with rubber pads on top.

I believe the bumper brackets were specific to the style of bumper.

Maybe Oliver Foster (a member here) will have a set. He will probably respond to your post before long.

mknittle is right, I am sure I can drum up a set.
Are you friends with PADually? He mentioned he had a friend in Berks County that he would send my way for some parts they needed.

Yup you got it, PADually is a good friend of mine and usually the guy who helps me work on my truck when there's something to be done. I think my shift lever actually came from you through him. He's been bugging me to make and account and said that you would be the guy to talk to. I'm sure there are other parts that I need but can't think of them off the top of my head. If you had those brackets that would be sweet.

Heck what's the pipe bumper look like? I am into different and unusual so if its heavy duty and possibly winch compatible I am interested. I am just down 81 in Martinsburg so shoot me some pics and send them to me in a PM.

How far back can you retrofit the front bumpers? I like the looks of older bumpers better.

Iirc that step bumpers brackets are specific to the bumper, as it's secondary brackets reinforce the bumper to be able to push another vehicle with it's black rubber bumperets. If not installed correctly, and you try to push something, it will distort the bumper and standard brackets. My le has this style bumpee

Welcome . you Need to show pics of your ride for us to oogle over
