New Era 370's

I had been planning on getting a set of 6X.012's but I think those will be a little too big for me, so I'm looking for information on New Era 370 injectors. I heard they were 5X.012's but I'm not 100% on that...

Anyone on here run these? How do you like them? i will be running these with a stock turbo for now, but plan on getting the smaller 57mm S300.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Parker

That's isn't very pleasant to hear... Do you have any other recommendations on a similar sized injector?

Well, I don't want to completely destroy my transmission, so I was thinking 370's would be the way to go. I'm looking for 300rwhp, and I have heard these injectors will support that.

They should. I did 297 through a stock 727 with my stock non i/c sticks and my s300. The 370's are bigger then my stockers.

Well, that is very nice to hear. Looks like 370's and an S300G will get me to my goal. Anyone who has ean them, did you notice any mileage differences in your normal driving? How about smoke, will these clean up pretty good?

Thanks again,
Parker

the S300G is a smaller S300. is is a 57/65/14 compared to /62/71/14.

I may still go with the bigger S300 instead of the S300G. You guys think I will need the bigger one?

Richie, since you have the S300G, I'll ask you. Do you think with the 370's, that turbo will be sufficient? I never tow or haul anything, so it will be everyday driving, with the occasional foot to the floor.

Thanks

I think that would be as big of sticks as that would handle. I was told by the local cummins speed shop ( where I bought the turbo ) that it would flow better or equal to the hx 40 with none of the lag the hx40 is known for. The comp wheel on a 40 is ( i think ) 60mm and my S300 is 57 but it is a newer design. The cfm's are 870 which is more then a hx40. I talked directly to borge warner ( tech department ) and he said I could run up to 45 pounds boost with no problems. At my 297 hp I am at 35 pounds tops with the gate unhooked. Mine does not have the adjustable wastegate as it came directly from borge warner not BD. BD and borge warner built this thing together in a joint effort as an upgrade from the hx 35's and hx 40's. Also the shafts in the s300 are better and do not break as easy. I am a barker so I did not want a 40. Also the 57 model is made for towing where the bigger ones do not recomend towing. I also went from a baby H1C to this so I saw a bigger difference then you will with the later and bigger H1C. My comp wheel was 50 mm with the small 3 inch inlet. Just beware I am a dummy and not to be confused with someone that has a clue.
