New Coils and Shocks
My truck still has the original shocks and coil springs in the front, and I'm getting ready to buy new front coils and shocks soon. I'm not worried about getting the truck high up or any higher than it originally was in the front. I was thinking about getting the springs and shocks from NAPA. Just the cheapest of each. I want a decently better ride but not a high cost. What's you guy's opinion of NAPA shocks as compared to anywhere else?
Thanks

look in the sticky the 7226s i believe is the spring you want... it is heavier and less likely to sag within a few month due to the weight of the diesel. i spent the money on bilstiens when i did the shocks on my wifes 250 and they are great.

I put the NAPA shocks on mine when I did the spring but ended up taking them off after a year cause they just were not doing the job. I now have Bilstiens on mine.

What is the benefit of changing the spring coils ??
I spent a fortune on a big pair of super heavy duty coils, for my F-350, that stated right on the box that they would pick my truck up two inches higher than stock.
We measured from the concrete to the frame, before and after, and nothing changed, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I should have had them take them right back out; but, I was leaving on a long journey, and was afraid that something might not get put back together quite as nicely as it should be, since they were just having to do all that work for nothing.
