pipe #2 in the kit runs into the transmission cross member. If they would have made the head pipe so that it went strait back it would have worked with just change of the #2 pipe to a pace of strait pipe about 3' long . ken

Dang, just ordered mine for the D250. Oh well, I'll get it to work somehow or another. I have some 20 or 30* 4" elbows kicking around and some straight 4" pipe, so I can get it to shoot back straight to the muffler/tailpipe if needed.

I paid $256 shipped to get my downpipe alone from Source. Then $85 more for the transfercase pipe for my stack set up. So if I have to mess around with the $275 (shipped) kit, I won't be upset . I read the free shipping is only for a month, so I jumped onboard before I had to pay another $100 or so.

Mine arrived today, WOW what a monster pipe and muffler!!!
Problem, (other than it won't fit a 2WD) is that the 4" dp has a 3" connector for the turbo so I suppose it won't fit the s300 I have I have on the way.
I guess I'll have to cut the connector off and weld a 4" on there.

Nothing is easy..............
Any ideas??

I ordered a Diamond Eye exhaust the other day too. And today there is an HE 351 (I think, haven't seen it yet) advertised locally. I might have a bigger turbo before my exhaust arrives!

to save you guys a bit of trouble with the adaption to your style turbos...like welding... i think its papecat that has a 3" to 4" adapter and uses two v-band clamps to make his set-up work. Its 50 bux but i can't remember wheres its from. It is from an online website that also sells an exhaust for our trucks... just can't remember!!!

FYI... the he351 has a 4" v-band outlet. not exactly 4", i believe papecat said it's sort of an oddball size.

I just installed the DE kit on my 93 2wd. I had to mod the downpipe slightly with one cut to open up the bottom turn so it exits parallel to the ground, then I substituted a 3.5' piece of straight tubing instead of pipe #3. Works like a champ, looks perfect. Sounds cool, too.

I have it just about on all I have to is the tail pipe to do. There tail pipe mount is not going to work the hole that D.E want you to use is taken up by one of the trailer hitch bolts but I can use the stock tail pipe hanger i just have to weld a pace of 1/8X1" on like the stock hanger Ken
