I found a guy with an intake horn off his 05' cummins and need to know if it will fit my 89' It looks like it should be a bolt on, but I'm over seas right now and cant compare in person.

I bet the bolt pattern would be the same, but remember you have a master cylinder in the way where the horn jogs to the driver side. Might have fitting issues. Working on an intercooler install?

Yea, I figure if I ever want to make any real power or high boost its the first thing I need. I have a 2nd Gen IC that I will be installing when I get back home. I've seen pics of 2nd gen intake horns on 1st gens with no problems. I hope I dont run into problems. I figure IC first, injectors, and then HTT Stage III. I think thats about as far as I will want to go with it. Any Idea how much power that should be worth? So far I've hit just under 230rwhp and just over 603rwtq. That is thanks to extremely cold intake temps.

the second gen ones that come forward should work, but the 24 valve ones come directly off the side and dont have enough clearance with the master..

I used a second gen intake horn on my 90.
It worked fine.
I'm sure there would be clearance problems with the third gen horn.
Btw, the second gen cooler ended up fitting really nicely too.
