Need injector fuel line....Where? Anyone have a used one?

I need a #5 injector fuel line. Mine is leaking at the fitting near the injector pump. I tried tighten it, but it was very tight. It must have a split internally. It started leaking a couple weeks after I bumped the injector pump timing.

The local Freightliner store wanted 54.00 for the line, is this price high? Does anyone have a good used line I could buy? Or, where is a good link to order parts from?

Thanks for any input and I appreciate the vaulable information that everybody shares in the forums

Does the injector line have a O ring at the pump connection? If not, How does it seal? If I took the line off or loose from the pump if it would reseal?

Thanks guys for all of your help in the forums.

No o-ring. Seals by compression. You can remove and re-install without any problems so long as you don't cross thread.

I tried my local Dodge dealer and they said that line isn't made anymore and they couldn't find any. Are you sure the part is for an intercooled engine? Most places that I looked at had the #5 line for a non-intercooled 93, but not an intercooled engine. The dealer said it makes a difference, but I don't know?

I believe the non intercooled lines are slightly larger than the intercooled lines, or atleast that is what I was told at one time. I'm not 100% sure so maybe someone else will chime in. The lines are bent the same so you could swap all the lines wihtout having any problems, but I dont know if I would mix and match intercooled and non intercooled lines.

Good News!!! I didn't the fuel after all. the line wasn't leaking, it was the check valve loose from the pump.

I took every line loose so I could get to the #5 on the back, then retighten all check valves and lines. Time consuming but not real hard
