Thur a week ago i was driving the 92 had it in 4WD (snowy/slick but not bad)
pulled out at a lite, shifted from 1st to 2nd, made a large crack and no go. all gears dead, shifted thru all the TF case gears still no go no real grinding. thought busted a shaft some where. went got rollback, dropped in shop .
finnaly got to work on it last nite. pulled shafts and checked case seemed ok pulled side cover on trans, no parts and seemed tight. pulled tf case and found splines in coupler and input of case stripped, Trans side seems very good yet also found a good amount of water in adapter(splines and coupler rusty) can i just get a coupler and input shaft/ gear ? and if so any ideas where i can get um? don't wanna replace TF case but will if ness.

drivetrain.com has the coupler too, and parts for the np205. Give them a call and they should be able to hook you up.
