When I worked at a NAPA store years ago, we were told that the premium line of rotors shouldn't need to be turned when they were new and could be put on straight out of the box but that the economy line usually needed to be trued up/turned straight out of the box before installation. You pay less but you get one less turn from those rotors too.

My 2wd Dually rotors were no longer ava. made in USofA. I was so disapointed. Even the Dealers were China made. Sooooo, I tried Canada, or even Mexico. No Dice. Taiwan was the best I could do. Then I was told "be glad you can still get them from anywhere"

I'm thinking everyone or all the parts places have sold out to the chinese. Up until about 7 or 8 months ago the napa I used had parts made in USA. Now they tell me the distibutor has mostly chinaman made junk. They have complained because of customer dis-satisfaction and the napa people tell them your customers are saving money. Junk is junk whether or not it's cheap or expensive. We all want Cheap so I guess we have it.

Sorry to hear that but any way have fun, I have parts all over the place. Changing leaking steering box, rear brakes and front brakes just did the master cylinder 2 days ago. Ah the fun of it.

See,
Advance auto listed the 3600Lb axle and then the other rotor that just said D250 diesel on the computer. And they were only $70
I don't know where you guys are paying $160 PER rotor, Napa premium rotors were $56 each and wagenders were $70.
Just go to www.advanceautoparts.com and click shop online and you'll see what i mean

I used to warp front rotors left and right till I changed my rear drum brakes over with a disc brake conversion. Truck stops on a dime now, and no more warped rotors. The conversion was so cheap, that it cost me about the same as replacing one rear drum.
